As a critical supplier of power electronics, Phasium by Megmeet (Phasium) is supporting our Medical OEM customers’ increase in production capacity to meet the demand for COVID-19 essential medical devices, such as ventilators, patient monitors, hospital beds, Imaging Systems and AEDs.
In an unprecedented partnership, General Motors LLC (GM) is working with Ventec Life Systems, Inc. (Ventec) to increase the production capability of Ventec’s VOCSN ventilator. The VOCSN ventilator combines critical respiratory therapies with a small footprint. Phasium is participating in this project, as a supplier of medical-grade power supplies, produced in our facilities in China. Hundreds of employees across disciplines from engineering to quality to production are working 7 days a week to ensure our company is ready to start production in coordination with GM and Ventec.
“We are proud to employ our experience, technical ability and manufacturing power and join the effort to produce medical equipment to address the shortfall of devices during this global pandemic,” said Robert Staub, Business Development Manager for Phasium. “Our goal is to support, with our Medical OEM customers, the healthy recovery of individuals affected by Covid-19 world-wide.”
Phasium is the premier medical power brand for Shenzhen Megmeet Electrical Co. Ltd (Megmeet), a publicly traded company with more than 4000 employees including 800 engineers. Megmeet’s facilities in mainland China are operating at normal production capacity, despite the global pandemic. At this time, priority is given to medical products, so the company is able to fulfill the high demand of the medical industry.
